Markings are the patterns wajas have on their fur coat, put their by the user, or inherited when bred. They have a specified color, either determined when bred or by the user when the custom was created. There are about 60 markings in total, and a waja can have as many of those markings as the owner wishes. Some markings are available when making a custom waja, while some are only available as a dye, or a marking added at any time. There are a few markings that are both dyes and regular markings, but a vast majority are one or the other. These markings have a percentage, and the closer it is to 100, the more visible it is. 0 is the least, 100 the best.

To obtain markings, a waja must have been created or bred with them, been dyed, or eaten a Marking Pear. When a custom waja is created, depending on the token, the user will be able to add a certain amount of markings in a certain color. When two wajas breed, say the custom pair just created, the breeding script will determine the percentage of visibility and the color. Another way to obtain markings is by feeding your waja a marking pear. When a waja is fed said pear, a randomly determined marking will be set on the waja with a randomly determined color, with a random percent of visibility. WARNING: Marking pears are irreversible.

Often, users will have contests or games where they take a waja with faded markings, and try to breed it with other wajas so the offspring will have 100% markings. Users will also feed a waja many marking pears, giving the waja all the markings, or as many as the user pleases. These are called paintballs, pearballs, and various other nicknames regarding the process.

Contests

Wajas are able to compete in several different contests. There are different types of contests, and users must train their wajas to have good stats and increase their chance of winning. To train a waja, click the world tab - contests - basic training - the waja you wish to train - submit. It will cost 1000WC total, and you will then need to assign 16 points to any of these attributes; Intelligence, Speed, Reflex, Stamina and your waja will then be considered a "contest waja". After this, you may train the newly registered contest waja in advanced training. You will have a choice of several games to train your waja in, each with it's own amount of points to certain attributes. Each game will cost a certain amount energy points, out of a total of 100. Your waja will have 100 points each calender date. After said game is over, you will have earned your waja a certain amount of points depending on how well you did. If you do really well, some games offer a bonus point you can assign to any attribute. The advanced training games you can play are Wack a Mole, where you click on the red X's when they apper. Another is Maths Challenge, where you have 1 minute to answer as many simple math problems as you can. Another game is Snake, where you get points by growing your snake and you then lose a life when you bump into a wall or yourself. The last game is Path Runner, where you try to keep the waja on the path as long as you can.

To enter a contest, click world - contests - upcoming. This will take you to a list of contests you can enter your waja in. These contests will have requirements, such as age, points, etc. To enter a contest you like, click enter contest - the waja you wish to enter - submit. This should enter your waja, and it will compete the day the contest is held. If it wins, then a certain amount of WC will be given out as a prize. Some of the contests your waja can enter are Senior Bingo, Musical Chairs, Scavenger Hunt, Hide And Seek, Long Distance Race, Dynamic Dig, Rabbit Chase and Monster Maze.

Breeding Guide

Disclaimer: This is only a breeding guideline to breed Wajas together, NOT a necessity. Players are free to breed how they wish, however this guide will give tips on how to breed Wajas with stronger markings.

Basics:
1. Make sure you have a pretty Waja with a small amount of markings (for this guide) and a love pear available. Is the Waja 20 days or older? Good. Now we will proceed to the next step.

2. Go to the Waja Search and look for a Waja that has similar markings to breed with your Waja. Remember! Check the owners rules and make sure you're not violating any by requesting the breeding.

3. Check the lineage up to the grandparent (that is three gens up). No parents the same? Good. (This is to prevent inbreeding)

4. Now go to a color website (such as colortools.net) and go to a color combiner or mixer. Now find the texts of the two parents, and make sure the result is pretty. Remember to combine all the markings, and when you're done, and happy with it, click breed. A request has been sent to the owner.

5. Pups are born in 5 days. Enjoy!

Here is an example of a what a breeding might look like if you have done the above steps.

If an Ancient Love Pear (ALP) was used, then the pups will be a close median pup of the parents' colors. If you use a regular love pear (LP), then the colors of the base and markings can range anywhere between the mother and father's colors.

Breeding in the markings!

OK, this job is a toughie, and may take a while, so you'll need patience.

1. Get a Waja with your favorite marking. Make sure it's at 100, or this will not go as well for you. Now, you find a waja of the opposite gender on the Waja Search, this time, we want a markingless.

2. You know the drill, breed with it. When the pups come, don't be upset. They will be fades.

3. Age pear one of the pups, or wait until it's 20, and breed it with a waja with the marking you chose. Repeat step two with these wajas.

4. A few generations later, you'll have a perfect marked waja!

(I know you're saying "That's pointless" It's not. This is an example. Say you got an Aerial with 60% belly and it was a nice pretty one. You could make it even prettier by upping the opacity layer. Or if you got a markless waja, and didn't have the money tondo a dye project, you breed in the markings)

Breeding out markings is as simple as breeding them in. You just get a waja with all the markings yours has and breed it with all of the markings but one.
Inbreeding- Noo!
Inbreeding is a kind if breeding where you breed puppies from the wajas parents or relatives. Yuck! Not many on wajas respect it, which is why you should always check both wajas lineages when breeding.

==Common Abreviations Used in Breeding==

LQ: [[Litter Quantity]]. Can be increased by using Normal Pears. Litter Quantity increases the chance of how many pups are born in one litter (up to 4 per litter).

MG: [[Male Gene]]. Can be increased with male pears. MG increases the chance of males being born in the litter.

MU: [[MU|Mutation]]. This can be increased by using Strange Pears. It increases the chances of mutations on pups.

In%: [[Inbred Percentage]]. Shows the % inbred of of a Waja, up to their corresponding grandparents.

IBP: [[Instant Birth Pear]]. Fed to a pregnant Waja for an instant birth (no pregnant delay).

LP: [[Love Pear]]. Used to breed Wajas. Owner of the female supplies this.

ALP: [[Ancient Love Pear]]. Used to breed Wajas with the old breeding script to produce median pups.

MP: Male Pear. Increases male gene.

SP: Strange Pear. Increases mutation gene.

IP: Ice Pear. Decreases In%.

They are commonly striped/streaked with a line down their middle.Water wajas can be obtained by using a frog item on any other waja, which will turn said waja in to a water waja. You have to train at least 1 of your wajas to mine to be able to play this game, but you later may train as many wajas as you would like. You mine by clicking on one of the arrows (Up, down, left and right) and then your waja will go mine in that direction, but keep in mind that you will not see this. Whatever your waja finds (Your whatever your waja doesn't find) will apper in the bottom right corner of the screen. You can mine once and day, and the number of times your waja can dig depends on its level. Your waja can gain level in this game by finding the beetle, which will level up your waja and give it 5 more digs. Your waja can find many things in this game from wall papers, to items and pets, ingredents to use with the mad scientist, and even wc. Each time you make a wrong guess, 1,000wc gets taken out of the winning pot. The colors you can guess are red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Remember, colors can be repeted! When you make a guess it will tell you if any of the wajas are correct or if there is any wajas of the right color but in the wrong place.

Fish-A-Waja is like when you fish for ducks at a fair. Just pick anyone of the green plastic wajas floating in the pool and then see what you win! The waja lottery isn't so much a game, but a lottery, as you can probably tell from its name. You can buy any amount of tickets that you want, but they each cost 300wc, which the money you spend to buy the ticket goes into the jackpot, but you then have a chance to win the lottery! Each drawing is guaranteed to have a jackpot of at least 10,000wc, but the jack pot usally ends up being millions and millions of wc!

Word wizard is a little like hang man, you have to guess the word right to win! You get a hint on what the word is, and then you must guess letters intill the word is spelled out all the way. Each question you get right is worth about 25,000wc on average, but you may only answer each set of questions once and you then have to wait intill the next batch is released to play again, and this may take awhile. You can play this game once a day. There are 3 hidden pears in a row (They all look like black pear shadows), one is worth 1,500wc, one 1,200wc and the last 1,000wc. Each time you have played this game in a row the pears wc worth gets x by that number. (For example, if you are playing this game and it is your 11 day in a row playing it and you pick the pear worth 1,000wc it then changes to 11,000wc so you then win 11,000wc!)

You can play the Rune Seek Game 4 times a day for free, and after that you can play it for 500wc. To play the game, you must flip over the tiles and try to find the word "Wajas". If you flip over 7 tiles that have to letter under them before you find the word, then you lose. For each letter you find you win 200wc. Keep in mind, that the letters that spell the word wajas are not always next to each other! If you find all of the letters you then win 5,000wc!

Breeding Guide

Basics:
1. Make sure you have a pretty waja with a small amount of markings (for this guide) and a love pear available. Is the waja 20 days or older? Good. Now we will proceed to the next step.
2. Go to the Waja Search and look for a waja with the same markings as your waja. Remember! Check the owners rules and make sure you're not violating any by requesting the breeding.
3. Check the lineage up to the grandparent (that is three gens up). No parents the same? Good.
4. Now go to a color website (such as colortools.net) and go to a color combiner or mixer. Now find the texts of the two parents, and make sure the result is pretty. Remember to combine all the markings, and when you're done, and happy with it, click breed. A request has been sent to the owner.
5. Wait for the pups, and enjoy!

If you used an Ancient Love Pear then all pups will look like the mediain pup above. If you use a regular love pear, then the color of the above pup may slightly vary.

Breeding in the markings!
OK, this job is a toughie, and may take a while, so you'll need patience.
1. Get a waja with your favourite marking. Make sure it's at 100, or this will not go as well for you. Now, you find a waja of the opposite gender on the Waja Search, this time, we want a markingless.
2. You know the drill, breed with it. When the pups come, don't be upset. They will be fades.
3. Age pear one of the pups, or wait until it's 20, and breed it with a waja with the marking you chose. Repeat step two with these wajas.
4. A few generations later, you'll have a perfect marked waja!
(I know you're saying "That's pointless" It's not. This is an example. Say you got an Aerial with 60% belly and it was a nice pretty one. You could make it even prettier by upping the opacity layer. Or if you got a markless waja, and didn't have the money tondo a dye project, you breed in the markings)

Breeding out markings is as simple as breeding them in. You just get a waja with all the markings yours has and breed it with all of the markings but one.
Inbreeding- Noo!
Inbreeding is a kind if breeding where you breed puppies from the wajas parents or relatives. Yuck! Not many on wajas respect it, which is why you should always check both wajas lineages when breeding.

Common Abreviations Used in Breeding:
LQ: Litter Quantity. Can be increased by using Normal Pears. Litter Quantity is how many pups are born.
MG: Male Gene. Can be increased with male pears. MG is how many males are in the litter.
MU: Mutation. This can be increased by using Strange Pears. It increases the chances of mutations on pups.
In%: Inbred Percentage. If your waja is inbred the In% is how inbred it is.
IBP: Instant Birth Pear. If you feed your waja this, it will give birth to a litter of pups instantly. Waja must be pregnant in order for this to work.
LP: Love Pear. Pear used to breed wajas. Owner of the female supplies this.
ALP: Ancient Love Pear. Used to breed wajas with the old breeding script. The old breeding script is when the parents marks and Colors are mixed together directly and there is only one outcome.
