Water wajas are serpentine and curled in a C shape. They are commonly striped/streaked with a line down their middle.Water wajas can be obtained by using a frog item on any other waja, which will turn said waja in to a water waja. You can also get a water waja from just buying one from another player or from making a custom one.

Tempest wajas are one of the 14 obtainable waja [[breeds]]. They are a wind breed, hence the name tempest. They are standing and looking with their head flipped back, as if something was behind them. They have curls all over their fur, symbolizing wind running through their coat. They are created through tokens or bottled air use on another waja. They can also be obtained by buying them from another user.

Imp wajas are one of the 14 obtainable waja breeds. They are based on a mix of a rat and an imp, a mischievous being, and was even released as an example of a rat. Imps seem to be landing from a jump on their front feet, and are smiling as if looking at the user. The imp has a long, spiked tail, and almost talon-like clawed feet.

Earth wajas are one of the 14 obtainable waja breeds. They are standing on their hind legs, with hooves instead of the usual paws. This leads to many players making horse or other hooved animal designs on their custom waja. Many people do not like said waja breed because of the hooves. This waja appears to be happy and smiling, while jumping/standing.

The corsie waja is one of the 14 obtainable waja breeds. It is modeled after a small dog breed, and appears to be looking happily at the user. It has a short, docked tail and semi-floppy wars, with big eyes. It has an apparent smile, and is lifting one foot up. The corsie is obtained by a token, or by using shrinking powder on a waja. The waja who was applied with shrinking powder will become a corsie.

The Aerial breed was introduced after Wajas went into a downtime in 2008. An [[apology package]] was given out for the users (1 per account), which included 1 Silver Aerial Token. As a result of these apology packages, Aerials are one of the most common breeds in the game. Meant to look like a bird, they have talons on their feet and feathers on their head.

There are 18 different mutations on Wajas, and there are two different category of mutations - Potion mutations and custom mutations.

Custom mutations, which include Bat Wings, Bird Wings, Butterfly Wings, Leg Feathers, Mane, Ram Horns, Saber Fangs and the Unihorn, are only available when you create a custom Waja with a Token. The only other way to achieve custom mutations is through a [[Mutation Pear]], which adds a random mutation to your Waja.

Potion mutations can be applied to your Waja by using the corresponding potion created by the [[mad scientist]]. These mutations can be added at any time and you cannot choose their color. Potion mutations are:

Plushie

Plushie wajas are one of the 14 obtainable waja breeds. They are made only when a plastic waja (from the Fish-a-Waja game) is used on a waja, creating a plushie waja. These plushie wajas are made to resemble plush toys, and have a stitched smile with glass eyes. They are posed in a way that looks almost like it is stretching by moving it's front legs out farther and moving the back legs up. Recently, the Plushie breed had undertaken a new shading, with more defined lines and slightly different eyes.

The Fire waja is one of the 14 obtainable breeds. It seems to be leaping and landing on its front feet. All of the Fire's feet are flaming, colored to match the waja's eye color. The eye color was once available in rainbow, making rainbow flames come off of the waja's feet. This is no longer possible, though. Fires have multiple tails, and seem to be mischievously grinning.

Egyptian

The Egyptian waja is one of the 14 [[breeds]] available. Its concept is a waja in the desert, and some users believe based on pharaoh hound dogs. They are very slim, and seem to glare. They have large, pointed ears and a tuft at the end of their tail. Currently, the eyes are working in a way so the color turns up muddled and gray, instead of a crisp, clean color that is chosen, i.e. a bright yellow may come out looking grayish. Egyptian wajas are obtained from wither tokens in the token shop, or by using a miniature pyramid on a waja. If a miniature pyramid is used, then the waja it was applied to will become an Egyptian.

Everyone has their own opinions of how much an individual Waja is worth, but here are a few basic guidelines to keep in mind when you're putting your pretties (or uglies!) up for sale.

*Age - Usually this shouldn't matter, but if the Waja is very old (probably somewhere over 1200 days), it can be worth more. How much more? It depends on the person to whom you are selling it.

*Breed - Again, this won't matter much, but there are some exceptions. Plushies seem to be the least favoured breed, and Divines go for the most money as they're the most limited. Also, if there's a new breed out, it'll be the most expensive for several weeks after its release.

*Gender - This really doesn't make a difference to most people, but males are usually rarer and a male Waja might cost more than its identical sister.

*Generation - Some people treat this as just another number, but it makes a world of difference for others. Custom pups (second generations) have a wide price variety depending on the number of markings they have, their MU/MG/LQ stats, and the person selling them. I've seen them going for prices from 500k to 10 million - or sometimes more. Divine custom pups are usually rather pricy, but limited predyes (or pups from retired parents) can also go for a lot of money. In general, you'll probably be well off giving higher prices to low-generation Wajas and lower prices to high-gens. Supergens (in the hundreds) can also be more expensive.

*Marking strength - As a general rule, if a Waja has 100 in all of its markings it'll probably be worth more than a Waja with the same markings in lesser strengths. However, some people (the writer included) love fadeys, and since fadeys are very hard to duplicate, they can be worth a lot too! Most people will probably pay more for a Waja with all 100s - but again, there's a lot of individual variation of tastes!

*Number of markings - If a Waja has a lot of markings in great strength, it may cost more than a Waja of the same generation with fewer markings. This is because it can get expensive quickly when you're creating parents with loads of dyes! Dyeballs, in general, are probably more pricy than their token-marking counterparts.

*Prettiness! - Everyone has a different idea of what the perfect Waja should look like. If I think a Waja is very pretty, I'm probably going to give it a higher price. If I think it's rather ugly, I'm going to give it a low price. (Someone else might think it's lovely and buy it - what a bargain!) It's hard to price Wajas according to prettiness, but give your best guess as to what other people - your potential buyers - will think of it.

Here's something of a rough general pricing guide to get you started:

*Custom pups: I price all of the pups from my custom pairs at 2.5 mil. This seems to be a generally acceptable price, as I've sold rather a lot of them! If you feel that your pups are worth more, go ahead and give them a higher price. Experiment with prices! If your Wajas aren't selling, try lowering the price a little. Find a sweet spot.
*Second gens with faded markings: 1-2 mil, depending on the markings and prettiness.
*Third gens from matching custom pups: Lots of people sell interbreedable custom pups, which means that the pups from their various pairs will not be related and make pretty babies together. I have some interbreedable pairs myself, and I sell their pups from 500k-850k.
*Third gens with faded markings: 500k-1 million, perhaps.
*Fourth gens and up with strong markings: There are a lot of variables here. Take a look at the generation, number of markings, and design and draw your own conclusion. Anywhere from 100k to 1 million could be realistic here.
*Supergens: Wajas through gen 299 will probably be priced as their lower-gen counterparts would, but gen 300 and over are going for 3-4 million.
*Dyeballs: Gen 2 dyeballs could probably go from 2-3 million; third gens from 1-2 million, perhaps. Beyond that, you can use your own judgement. Again, experiment with prices!
*Markingless: Pure black (#000000) and pure white (#FFFFFF) gen 2s will likely go for 500k-1 mil. Prices vary for all other colours (and generations). In general, markingless Wajas are probably worth less to most buyers than Wajas with markings.
*Paintballs: If a Waja has every available marking on the site, it'll probably be worth more than a muddy with tons of markings.
*Muddies: Wajas with muddy colours and faded markings - everyone's bred a few of those. They're not worth much to most people; 30k to 50k is probably a pretty standard price for them.

If a Waja doesn't really fall into any of these groups, take a look at it and give it your best pricing guess! These guidelines are no substitute for experience and experimentation. Fiddling about with prices is the best way to learn. If your Wajas are flying out like hotcakes, try raising the prices a little. What have you got to lose? If they're not selling after a few weeks, try bringing the prices down. It's all up to individual preferences of the buyer in the end - you might get a dramatically different price estimate from one person than you would from another.
