Spitz Wajas are one of the 14 obtainable Waja breeds. Spitz are the most recently added breed, just 2 months after the Imp. They are modeled after the Keeshond dog breed, and are very fluffy. They have a long, fluffy curled tail, short muzzles, and semi-short legs. They are smiling and appear to be happy. Spitz are in a sitting pose, with their head moved in closer to their chest just a little.

To change a waja into the Spitz breed, use a Hairball.

The Normal was the first [[List of Breeds|breed]] released on Waja. It is the breed that Apollo, the site mascot, is. This is the most common waja, and the most dominant.

To change a waja into the Normal Breed, use a Lollipop.

Imp

Imp wajas are one of the 14 obtainable waja breeds. They are based on a mix of a rat and an imp, a mischievous being, and was even released as an example of a rat. Imps seem to be landing from a jump on their front feet, and are smiling as if looking at the user. The imp has a long, spiked tail, and almost talon-like clawed feet.

To change a waja into the Imp Breed, use a Joker Card.

Fire

The Fire waja is one of the 14 obtainable breeds. It seems to be leaping and landing on its front feet. All of the Fire's feet are flaming, colored to match the waja's eye color. The eye color was once available in rainbow, making rainbow flames come off of the waja's feet. This is no longer possible, though. Fires have multiple tails, and seem to be mischievously grinning.

To change a waja into the Fire Breed, use a Burnt Paper.

Earth

Earth wajas are one of the 14 obtainable waja breeds. They are standing on their hind legs, with hooves instead of the usual paws. This leads to many players making horse or other hooved animal designs on their custom waja. Many people do not like said waja breed because of the hooves. This waja appears to be happy and smiling, while jumping/standing.

To change a waja into the Earth Breed, use a Marble Horse Mold.

Divine

One of the fourteen waja [[breeds]], the Divine is the only waja with wings in its base design and has dragon-like whiskers. The Divine was originally called the Celestial Waja when Wajas was an adoptable on Pony Island, but another adoptable had a Celestial species, so [[Apollo]] changed the waja's name to Divine.

The Divine is a limited species whose tokens are only released in the token shop once a year between July 3rd and July 4th. Breeding-wise, they are the most recessive species, and will generally only produce Divine offspring if mated with another Divine.

TO change a waja into a Divine breed, use a Celestial Star.

Bane

The bane Waja is one of the 14 [[breeds]] available. It is seen often seen as one of the more vicious species, and is one of the breeds that mutations are more popular on. The original concept was suggested and drawn by Ankokou, one of Wajas former artists. [[Tokens]] for Banes are only available in the Token Shop around October 31 (Halloween).

To change a waja into the Bane Breed, use an Ominous Skull.

African

African wajas (also known as "Affies") are one of the 14 Waja [[breeds]] currently obtainable. This breed is based off of the African Wild dogs(Cape Hunting Dog). They are the only Waja facing forward and hypothetically looking at the user, limiting the view of markings on the back. This is the only breed that has two tails, and it therefore has relatively different ways to display them.

To change a waja into an African breed, use a Rock Waja.

Aerial

The Aerial breed was introduced after Wajas went into a downtime in 2008. An [[apology package]] was given out for the users (1 per account), which included 1 Silver Aerial Token. As a result of these apology packages, Aerials are one of the most common breeds in the game. Meant to look like a bird, they have talons on their feet and feathers on their head.

To change a waja into an Aerial, use a Scaled Feather item.

Leaf Exchange

The Leaf Exchange is a special shop where you can buy accessories with leaf points. You can either obtain leaf points at the Pear Tree (2x a day max; must be an upgraded user), or buy leaves from user shops. To get to the Leaf Exchange:

The items in the Leaf Exchange are updated monthly, with the exception of the:

The above are always in the Leaf Exchange.

When purchasing items from the Leaf Exchange your lowest value leaves (Brown, then Green, then Blue, and so on...) will automatically be spent first . If you are owed any change it will be paid back with Brown Leaves (worth 1 point each). (On bottom of leaf exchange page)

Mutation Gene

Mutation percentage is commonly abbreviated MU. The MU is located to the right of the Wajas Image, below Eye Color.

The Mutation percentage relates to how likely the waja's offspring is to have the parents mutations.
