Currently revamping the main page, in order to provide more useful links and information for users, particularly when they first reach the Wiki.

Progress is being made on updating the [[Plushie]] item images, however with over 1,000 accessories and their images to update it is an ongoing project which [[Lammy]] is working on in her spare time.

===November 16, 2013===
We will be working to get Divines updated with their new shading as quickly as we can and appreciate everyone's patience as this huge task is undertaken.

===November 19, 2013===
All wallpaper images have been updated for Divines. Work is continuing to update both Divine and Plushie item images, and Lammy is also beginning to replace images in gif and jpg formats with png. This is to allow people to more easily update things such as marking images, as they will no longer need to check what format the existing image is saved as and save the new image accordingly. It might not seem like much on the front end, but it helps a lot on the back-end!

And adding on that we are working on getting images up for the two new markings that were released as well.

The Glitched category has been separated into "Glitched Items" and "Glitched Markings". Notice something that doesn't display correctly, that isn't on the appropriate list?

Work is continuing on Divine and Plushie image updates.

If you've been on Wajas, you know that Earth lineart has been updated. We will get around to updating all of our Earth images at some point, but for now, we are focussing on our ongoing efforts to finish Plushies and Divines in addition to our usual business of keeping up with new items, new markings, etc.. No doubt, this to do list will grow longer as Estuko continues making image changes around the site and so we do, as always, appreciate your patience and understanding as we scramble to catch up!

Caps abuse is bad, but I want to make sure that anyone even glancing through might notice that. :) We're still not 100% sure if it's done yet and we don't want to start until it is because no one really wants this to be more work than necessary. Hello, Wiki! It's been a while! As breed art continues to be upgraded on wajas, we'll be continuing to update it here on the wiki, though redoing item images will wait until we confirmation that the updates are finished. During this time, you may notice that, for example, the picture of the African with Butterfly Wings still looks like the old one. If this happens, try refreshing with F5 like you would on Wajas. If we've updated the image, this will allow you to see the new version on your browser. Also, a reminder to everyone that the Wiki is a community run project, but is regularly maintained by a handful of players who are volunteering their time and working hard to update and improve it. We're people and sometimes we forget to edit a date or something silly. Hello, Wiki! It's August and as you all well know, the [[Forum Goblins]] Event is in full swing. We are working hard to get pages and images up for those items. We also saw a fundraising effort on Wajas in July and there is a page in the works for that, which ties into a smei-exciting (I'm excited) new feature on the Wiki: the Wajas Historical Events page. Okay, technically, it is a category, and sub-categorised in it are the years since Wajas started to now. So what is this? Well, firstly, it's a link off to the right under Resources. Secondly, since we have pages for events on Wajas such as the Forum Goblins and the 2014 Custom Sale, we realised that we should really have these things organised and linked together somewhere to make finding the information easier. This is still a work in progress and if you're an old player with helpful information about Wajas' past, I'm always open to PMs. In these year subcategories, we'll be tagging major events such as those listed above, seasonal Events (which will still have their own category, and big changes made to the site such as the release of a breed. We hope that this will make the history of Wajas more accessible to everyone. We're also working on a breeding experiment to determine the results of rainbow vs chrome markings and will have that up here and mentioned in the news as well.Finally, we appreciate your patience and understanding that the Wiki is regularly maintained by only a handful of players and so sometimes things don't get updated as quickly as we would like or are unclear. Halloween is here! Images for the [[Halloween 2014]] items are being added as they are obtained. Don't forget to knock on the OWF's door every hour, and remember that it is an hour after you last visited, not each clock hour. We certainly get (appreciated) help from sporadic contributors, but with 2300 items it is impossible for people with real lives to manually keep every price up to date, despite our valiant efforts. Below our listed price, though, are links to view the item in the search. Use these! :) Item prices are prone to fluctuations and you should always double check the search before pricing your stuff. This is a notice to let everybody know that the wiki '''desperately''' needs active, reliable people to assist with site updates. It is getting to the point where I am having to step in again to help Schwarz out, despite having done a handover and taking a hiatus from the Wiki. If you want to help out, and you can follow the rules, [[Special:RequestAccount | apply for an account]] today.

But let me make this abundantly clear. You are not going to be useful to us if you only do one edit every three months. You are not going to be useful to us if you don't follow the templates and protocols in place for edits. If you cannot devote time to the wiki, then please don't apply. Schwarz and I regularly dedicate hours of our time to keeping this wiki updated, and we don't have the bandwidth to do all that needs to be done. When requesting an account you need to provide the following information:
* Your Wajas ID
* How much time you can devote to the wiki
* What tasks you can complete
* Any previous wiki experience

Hello in this new year, Wiki! We're still working hard around here and one thing we've gotten done is the [[Mining Cave Items]] page. As you know, the Mining Cave is now a few caves and so the listing of the items has been altered to reflect which cave these items may be found in. We're still working to sort some of them (those are in the Unknown section), but we'll get there! Also, a big thank you to everyone who contributes to the Wajas Wiki! Hey, guys! I'm updating the news to let you know that the wiki is having problems creating accounts in the normal way. I think our wiki version needs updated and I've contacted our originator, Shadowfiles about it. So, until we get this pesky issue resolved, new accounts must be manually created and requesting one here will cause issues where an account with your requested name can't be made. If you're looking to join us, send me a PM and don't touch anything here. Also, I've bumped [http://www.wajas.com/cave.php?id=1231 Tailz] up to admin status! This will allow a divide and conquer strategy as she can now do all the things I can, which should help the wiki to run a bit more smoothly. Thanks for your help and support, everyone!

Hello! First wiki news post yeah! :) Over the past few months I've been diligently working on old articles and updating things with all the new features coming out, and adding images to help further explain the steps to make them a little more newbie friendly! Speaking of Newbies, I'd like to point out I've compressed the "Mega FAQ" from wajas onto it's own page here with updated steps and images located on the [[Newbie Mega Guide]] page! I'm always looking for ways to improve it if you have any ideas of topics I may have missed or suggestions of things to add. Synestra(#13965) has been working hard to try to update all the [[Markings by Breed]] pages since a lot of them are very out of date with old line arts (Thanks to Impreza for pointing that out to me!). If you have ANY suggestions of anything to add to the wiki, or if you come across something that is highly out of date, please do not hesitate to contact me on wajas. :) I take the Wiki very seriously and would love to keep it a resource that everyone can check with accurate information! I've also added a new more "modern" banner at the bottom to show your support for the wiki and give yourself a quick link to the wiki from your profile. Hello again everyone! Wow, have we had some awesome new changes! There are a lot of features that have had an overhaul, and it's going to take a little while to get all the images updated to the new format. I also want to add that we are going to be a little slow about getting the updates in as things can change as testing goes on. This is a big change for wajas, and I would hate to push our team to get everything updated right away and then have things change the next week. Our first goal will be updating all the markings pages from the images on the demo. Items in the [[Pear Shop]], [[Dye Shop]], [[Wallpaper Shop]], [[Accessory Shop]], and [[Pet Shop]] are generally stocked in limited numbers to provide a challenge and to help keep the item from becoming too common. Because of this, these shops need to be refilled by the site regularly. '''Restock''' refers to the times during the hour that these NPC shops refill with items. During restock the prices for each individual item will also change slightly, though still staying in a set range for that item. The number of each item restocked is also based on a range for that particular item.

Shops that require a special currency, like the [[CWP Shop]], [[Token Shop]] and [[Leaf Exchange]] do not restock because the items available in them are always at a set price with an infinite number purchasable. User run shops are not affected in any way by the site's restock, as they must be manually filled by their owner.

Currently, restock takes place every hour at :02, :17, :32, and :47 past the hour (according to [[Wajas Time]]).

On January 29, 2016, Estuko unveiled the Achievements feature. Achievements allows players to earn trophies for completing various milestones while playing the game, such as posting 500 times on the forums. Trophies are awarded at different levels, most starting at Paper and ending at Diamond. A player's Achievements that have been earned can be viewed on their profile page. Players can turn the feature off in their settings, much like the [[Flower Patch]].
