The Obsessed Waja Fan, commonly abbreviated OWF, was a site function designed to help clean up the massive number of Wajas.

This is reserved mostly for ugly/inbred wajas, as most people don't like them. You get 10k for OWFing a waja, so don't put pretty wajas in there that cost a lot more! You can OWF a waja by going to "Home", "Your Cave", "Release Wajas", then checking all the wajas you want to OWF (If you want to OWF them all, then go down to the bottom and click "Check All"), then clicking "Submit". '''Warning:''''' you cannot get these wajas back after you OWF them! These wajas will then only be viewable by following links from parents/offspring on another wajas page, or if you have the link saved elsewhere to visit.

These wajas are being compressed to conserve memory for the site. Some users believe because of this, the OWF tortures, neglects, and kills wajas. The OWF has no such capabilities, and often, but not always, they are upset because a waja they sold or gave a away ended up there, when they preferred it didn't.

Some people (Monsters, Slayers, and the like) make it their duty to go on the waja search and purchase cheap (10-30k, mostly) wajas and OWF them to create more room on the website. Some other users make it their job to rescue wajas from the evil OWF they see in their minds.

It can be found in the games menu by clicking World, then Games. This game is designed to be like a common fair/carnival game called fishing for ducks, in which several rubber duckies are set up in a small pool and fair goers are allowed to pick one and receive a prize based on what's written on the bottom of the duck.

Fish-A-Waja works in essentially the same way, except with plastic wajas instead of ducks. The game's page features a picture of several clickable plastic wajas floating in a pool. To play you simply click the plastic waja of your choice and you will receive WC as a prize. The exact amount of WC you win is chosen at random from a range of about 40,000 WC to around 80,000 WC.

Points were accumulated, and those accumulated points could be used to obtain items exclusive to the trade in. The most valuable prize was the [[FurEva Ticket]], costing a whopping 2000 points, or 2000 wajas.

This event lasted for five days, ensuring that no on could puppy mill wajas for more points. [[Estuko]] stated that this event will never return, because then people can prepare by puppy milling.

These cannot in any way be purchased from one of the stores. The only way in the past to obtain these was when there was a large event for trading in muddies; for every waja traded in, one point was earned. These points could be exchanged for items, and the FurEva Ticket was worth 2000 points. This event is never coming back, according to [[Estuko]], suggesting there may be another way to obtain FurEva Tickets.

A “Fade” is a waja with only slightly visible markings. These markings are typically in colors which are appealing together. When the markings and/or colors are not visually appealing, the waja is more often referred to as a “Muddy” or “Mudball.”

Many fades consist of light colors and markings that are not dense on the coat, such as back spots. To achieve markings of low opacity, breeding wajas that have different markings will produce offspring with opacity below 100%. Often, fades will have a theme set by the user so they have a basis on what to breed.

Wajas, pronounced Wah-has, is a virtual petsite created by [[Apollo]] that gets its name from the Cherokee word for "wolf." Wajas is a breeding simulation that centers a variety of different wolf-like species, called Wajas, that can have different [[markings]] and [[mutations]] in any color. There are 14 unique breeds and over 90 [[markings]] and [[mutations]]!

Aerials are a dominant breed of feathered wajas. Their tongue is proboscis-like, and small tufts of feathers decorate their ears, shoulders, and legs. They have talon-like feet rather than paws.

Africans are the only breed of wajas depicted fully face on. They have two tails, and large ears inspired by the wilde african dog.

Banes are a vicious breed of wajas, intended to be released in time for Halloween 2008. They are supposed to be a scarier breed than the others. This breed is highly dominant as would be expected for a brand-new breed, roughly equal to aerials.

It is modeled after a small dog breed, and appears to be looking happily at the user. It has a short, docked tail and semi-floppy wars, with big eyes. It has an apparent smile, and is lifting one foot up.

Divines are the rarest and most expensive of the waja breeds. They fall at the lowest position on the dominance chart. The difficulty in breeding divines, combined with the extreme rarity of divine custom tokens makes them amongst the highest-priced wajas available. Divines are regal wajas with wings, horns, and a pair of long whiskers like an asiatic dragon.

Divine tokens are available one day each year. On July 3, starting at 9am, gold and silver divine tokens go on sale in the token shop for 24 hours. These tokens cost 50/60 CWP each, are limited to two per person, and are "locked" until divine day ends - you cannot use a Divine token until the 24 hours is up.

Fun and playful, the Earth breed is noted for having hooves instead of paws. These hooves are the same colour as the waja's body, and is unaffected by markings that would normally cover the paws.

Stunning and sleek, the egyptian breed is based off the pharaoh hound. Bracelets and collars take on a different appearance when equipped to egyptian wajas. Collars become golden torques with gems set in the centre, while the bracelets become golden cuffs.

Fire wajas are long, sleek wajas, with flaming paws. They have three short, fluffy tails. The colour of the flames is determined by the waja's eye colour.

They are based on a mix of a rat and an imp, a mischievous being, and was even released as an example of a rat. Imps seem to be landing from a jump on their front feet, and are smiling as if looking at the user. The imp has a long, spiked tail, and almost talon-like clawed feet.

The Normal was the first breed released on Waja. It is the breed that Apollo, the site mascot, is. This is the most common waja, and the most dominant.

They are made only when a plastic waja (from the Fish-a-Waja game) is used on a waja, creating a plushie waja. These plushie wajas are made to resemble plush toys, and have a stitched smile with glass eyes. They are posed in a way that looks almost like it is stretching by moving it's front legs out farther and moving the back legs up. Recently, the Plushie breed had undertaken a new shading, with more defined lines and slightly different eyes.

Spitz are the most recently added breed, just 2 months after the Imp. They are modeled after the Keeshond dog breed, and are very fluffy. They have a long, fluffy curled tail, short muzzles, and semi-short legs. They are smiling and appear to be happy. Spitz are in a sitting pose, with their head moved in closer to their chest just a little.

The waja lottery is a game, and as the title shows, a lottery. There is a set price of 10,000[WC] each week. Each time someone buys a ticket, for 300[WC] each, that [WC] gets added to the pot. At the end of the week, someone is randomly drawn, and they get every last bit of [WC] in the pot. Often this will go up in the ten-millions, and sometimes even into twenty-millions.

Disclaimer: This is only a breeding guideline to breed Wajas together, NOT a necessity. Players are free to breed how they wish, however this guide will give tips on how to breed Wajas with stronger markings.

Basics:
1. Make sure you have a pretty Waja with a small amount of markings (for this guide) and a love pear available. Is the Waja 20 days or older? Good. Now we will proceed to the next step.

2. Go to the Waja Search and look for a Waja that has similar markings to breed with your Waja. Remember! Check the owners rules and make sure you're not violating any by requesting the breeding. The rules can be found under the waja's picture, and sometimes in the cave description.

3. Check the lineage up to the grandparent (that is three gens up). No parents the same? Good. (This is to prevent inbreeding)

4. Use the color mixer tool on the site by clicking help - color mixer. Now find the texts of the two parents, and make sure the result is pretty. To do this, open another tab in the custom demo and see what the pup will look like. Remember to combine all the markings, and when you're done, and happy with it, click breed. A request has been sent to the owner.

5. Pups are born in 5 days. Enjoy!

Here is an example of a what a breeding might look like if you have done the above steps.

If an Ancient Love Pear (ALP) was used, then the pups will be a close median pup of the parents' colors. If you use a regular love pear (LP), then the colors of the base and markings can range anywhere between the mother and father's colors.

Method 2 - Making profits

Another breeding method.

1. Grab a a waja you like. It's better to start with not many markings, but go wild, if you please.

2. Use the waja search under world - waja search for a similar waja. For this method, make sure you click "Selling - yes". For the rest of the criteria, select "all breeds", click "breeding - yes" and add the markings to the appropriate boxes. If they don't all fit, that's ok. To have better opacity and increase your profits, make them all equal to 100%.

3. When you find a waja you like, make sure it's very close to your waja marking-wise.

4. Check the wajas' mixed colors. To do this, have open 4 tabs on wajas. Make one the color mixer by going to help - color mixer, and the other tab the custom demo by going world - custom demo. The last 2 tabs should be your waja and the waja you want to purchase.

5. Put the markings on the custom demo in the female waja's layering. Now, in the color mixer, for each marking take the father and the mother's hex code and put them in the appropriate place. When this is done, add the middle color to the designated marking on the custom demo. Do this with all markings, coat, and eyes.

6. When you're all done with this, if you like the waja's combo pups, purchase it. Breed the two wajas together, and in 5 days, you will have a new litter. You can sell these for prices around similar wajas on the waja search, or you could open a thread on the [[forums]] asking what other users may think of it, and what they would pay.

7. Remember, if there are any pups you would like to keep, do so! They are yours!

OK, this job is a toughie, and may take a while, so you'll need patience.

1. Get a Waja with your favorite marking. Make sure it's at 100, or this will not go as well for you. Now, you find a waja of the opposite gender on the Waja Search, this time, we want a markingless.

2. You know the drill, breed with it. When the pups come, don't be upset. They will be fades.

3. Age pear one of the pups, or wait until it's 20, and breed it with a waja with the marking you chose. Repeat step two with these wajas.

4. A few generations later, you'll have a perfect marked waja!

(I know you're saying "That's pointless" It's not. This is an example. Say you got an Aerial with 60% belly and it was a nice pretty one. You could make it even prettier by upping the opacity layer. Or if you got a markless waja, and didn't have the money tondo a dye project, you breed in the markings)

Breeding out markings is as simple as breeding them in. You just get a waja with all the markings yours has and breed it with all of the markings but one.
Inbreeding- Noo!
Inbreeding is a kind if breeding where you breed puppies from the wajas parents or relatives. Yuck! Not many on wajas respect it, which is why you should always check both wajas lineages when breeding.

==Common Abreviations Used in Breeding==

LQ: [[Litter Quantity]]. Can be increased by using Normal Pears. Litter Quantity increases the chance of how many pups are born in one litter (up to 4 per litter).

MG: [[Male Gene]]. Can be increased with male pears. MG increases the chance of males being born in the litter.

MU: [[MU|Mutation]]. This can be increased by using Strange Pears. It increases the chances of mutations on pups.

In%: [[Inbred Percentage]]. Shows the % inbred of of a Waja, up to their corresponding grandparents.

IBP: [[Instant Birth Pear]]. Fed to a pregnant Waja for an instant birth (no pregnant delay).

LP: [[Love Pear]]. Used to breed Wajas. Owner of the female supplies this.

ALP: [[Ancient Love Pear]]. Used to breed Wajas with the old breeding script to produce median pups.

MP: Male Pear. Increases male gene.

SP: Strange Pear. Increases mutation gene.

IP: Ice Pear. Decreases In%.

NP: Normal pear. Increases LQ.

Custom Wajas

Customs are wajas that you, yourself create with Tokens (Bought with [[CWP]] at the [[token shop]]). You can create a design first in the [[custom demo]]. These wajas are all generation 1, which means they are the best generation. Don't go selling these off cheap! Considering that it costs 20 CWP for the cheapest token (the Silver Token), and that each CWP costs roughly around 4 million WC each. CWP you either buy with real life cash or you save up enough WC to buy all of the CWP you need.

Another thing you could do is buy a pre-made Custom, which means that someone else created the custom. These are generally cheaper. You can find them by going on the side bar to "World", "Waja Search"; choosing the breed you want (Or "all breeds"); typing in (in Max price) the amount you would be willing to pay (Warning: most gen 1s go for 30 mil and up) and, in the spots that say "Max Gen" and "Min Gen", type in "1", then click "Submit".

No gen 1s that you make at first have any LQ (Litter Quantity), MG (Male Gene), MU (Mutation), or IN (Inbred percentage; no IN is good). To gain LQ, feed it normal pears. To gain MG, feed it Male Pears. To gain MU, feed it Strange Pears. Depending on the person, you may not want to give it more MG or MU, though LQ is always good as it affects the likelihood that a certain amount of pups will be born (More LQ, likelihood of more pups.)

Breeding Guide

Disclaimer: This is only a breeding guideline to breed Wajas together, NOT a necessity. Players are free to breed how they wish, however this guide will give tips on how to breed Wajas with stronger markings.

Basics:
1. Make sure you have a pretty Waja with a small amount of markings (for this guide) and a love pear available. Is the Waja 20 days or older? Good. Now we will proceed to the next step.

2. Go to the Waja Search and look for a Waja that has similar markings to breed with your Waja. Remember! Check the owners rules and make sure you're not violating any by requesting the breeding. The rules can be found under the waja's picture, and sometimes in the cave description.

3. Check the lineage up to the grandparent (that is three gens up). No parents the same? Good. (This is to prevent inbreeding)

4. Use the color mixer tool on the site by clicking help - color mixer. Now find the texts of the two parents, and make sure the result is pretty. To do this, open another tab in the custom demo and see what the pup will look like. Remember to combine all the markings, and when you're done, and happy with it, click breed. A request has been sent to the owner.

5. Pups are born in 5 days. Enjoy!

Here is an example of a what a breeding might look like if you have done the above steps.

If an Ancient Love Pear (ALP) was used, then the pups will be a close median pup of the parents' colors. If you use a regular love pear (LP), then the colors of the base and markings can range anywhere between the mother and father's colors.

Breeding in the markings!

OK, this job is a toughie, and may take a while, so you'll need patience.

1. Get a Waja with your favorite marking. Make sure it's at 100, or this will not go as well for you. Now, you find a waja of the opposite gender on the Waja Search, this time, we want a markingless.

2. You know the drill, breed with it. When the pups come, don't be upset. They will be fades.

3. Age pear one of the pups, or wait until it's 20, and breed it with a waja with the marking you chose. Repeat step two with these wajas.

4. A few generations later, you'll have a perfect marked waja!

(I know you're saying "That's pointless" It's not. This is an example. Say you got an Aerial with 60% belly and it was a nice pretty one. You could make it even prettier by upping the opacity layer. Or if you got a markless waja, and didn't have the money tondo a dye project, you breed in the markings)

Breeding out markings is as simple as breeding them in. You just get a waja with all the markings yours has and breed it with all of the markings but one.
Inbreeding- Noo!
Inbreeding is a kind if breeding where you breed puppies from the wajas parents or relatives. Yuck! Not many on wajas respect it, which is why you should always check both wajas lineages when breeding.

==Common Abreviations Used in Breeding==

LQ: [[Litter Quantity]]. Can be increased by using Normal Pears. Litter Quantity increases the chance of how many pups are born in one litter (up to 4 per litter).

MG: [[Male Gene]]. Can be increased with male pears. MG increases the chance of males being born in the litter.

MU: [[MU|Mutation]]. This can be increased by using Strange Pears. It increases the chances of mutations on pups.

In%: [[Inbred Percentage]]. Shows the % inbred of of a Waja, up to their corresponding grandparents.

IBP: [[Instant Birth Pear]]. Fed to a pregnant Waja for an instant birth (no pregnant delay).

LP: [[Love Pear]]. Used to breed Wajas. Owner of the female supplies this.

ALP: [[Ancient Love Pear]]. Used to breed Wajas with the old breeding script to produce median pups.

MP: Male Pear. Increases male gene.

SP: Strange Pear. Increases mutation gene.

IP: Ice Pear. Decreases In%.

NP: Normal pear. Increases LQ.

The Token Shop is found under the shop link in the World menu, and has an unlimited number of tokens available in limited breeds. Tokens are what's used to make new, custom wajas. Depending on the color(gold, silver, or diamond) a certain amount of markings and mutations may be added to the new waja. Remember, when creating a custom, each marking takes one spot, and each mutation takes one spot.

Diamond = 4 markings and/or mutations.
Gold = 3 markings and/or mutations
Silver = 2 markings and/or mutations

These items are stored in your inventory for easy access latre. To go to your inventory, click the home tab - inventory. If you wish to use an item, click it for a drop-down menu of options. There are several actions, including equip, feed, use, etc... Items will vary in the options available, i.e. you can't equip a a pear, but you can feed it to a waja.

To obtain items, you must either buy them, receive them from users, or receive them for a gift of activity. Items are available in shops, and user owned shops. To go to a shop, click the world tab - shop - shop desired. There are many shops, including pear shop, token shop, etc. To buy an item in the shop, click it and you should buy it. Your WC or CWP required to buy it will be subtracted automatically from your pocket, not the bank. If you don't have enough at hand, then you must visit the bank to withdraw the necessary amount. To buy from a user's shop, click the world tab - shop search - the desired item. This has many, many more options than the regular shop, but are often more expensive.

To sell an item, click the world tab - inventory - desired item - sell. You should then be able to price the item in WC and CWP, afterwards hitting submit will place it in your shop. Other options are the same process, but instead of sell, you'd click the desired action.

Markings are the patterns wajas have on their fur coat, put their by the user, or inherited when bred. They have a specified color, either determined when bred or by the user when the custom was created. There are about 60 markings in total, and a waja can have as many of those markings as the owner wishes. Some markings are available when making a custom waja, while some are only available as a dye, or a marking added at any time. There are a few markings that are both dyes and regular markings, but a vast majority are one or the other. These markings have a percentage, and the closer it is to 100, the more visible it is. 0 is the least, 100 the best.

To obtain markings, a waja must have been created or bred with them, been dyed, or eaten a Marking Pear. When a custom waja is created, depending on the token, the user will be able to add a certain amount of markings in a certain color. When two wajas breed, say the custom pair just created, the breeding script will determine the percentage of visibility and the color. Another way to obtain markings is by feeding your waja a marking pear. When a waja is fed said pear, a randomly determined marking will be set on the waja with a randomly determined color, with a random percent of visibility. WARNING: Marking pears are irreversible.

Often, users will have contests or games where they take a waja with faded markings, and try to breed it with other wajas so the offspring will have 100% markings. Users will also feed a waja many marking pears, giving the waja all the markings, or as many as the user pleases. These are called paintballs, pearballs, and various other nicknames regarding the process.

The OWF Monster is where unwanted wajas go. This is reserved mostly for ugly/inbred wajas, as most people don't like them. You get 10k for OWFing a waja, so don't put pretty wajas in there that cost a lot more! You can OWF a waja by going to "Home", "Your Cave", "Release Wajas", then checking all the wajas you want to OWF (If you want to OWF them all, then go down to the bottom and click "Check All"), then clicking "Submit". Warning: you cannot get these wajas back after you OWF them! These wajas will then only be viewable by following links from parents/offspring on another wajas page, or if you have the link saved elsewhere to visit.

Eventually, these wajas will be compressed to conserve memory for the site. Some users believe because of this, the OWF tortures, neglects, and kills wajas. The OWF has no such capabilities, and often, but not always, they are upset because a waja they sold or gave a away ended up there, when they preferred it didn't.

They have large, pointed ears and a tuft at the end of their tail. Currently, the eyes are working in a way so the color turns up muddled and gray, instead of a crisp, clean color that is chosen, i.e. a bright yellow may come out looking grayish. Egyptian wajas are obtained from wither tokens in the token shop, or by using a miniature pyramid on a waja. If a miniature pyramid is used, then the waja it was applied to will become an Egyptian.
