Introduced in May 2014, after a site wide contest to design her look, Nicola the Genius was unveiled as the assistant to the [[Mad Scientist]]. Her introduction took the form of a thread posted by the Admin operated account 12, in which she accepted certain amounts of items from the [[Mining|Mining Caves]] in exchange for a random dye, essentially running her own alternative to the potions offered by the Mad Scientist.

''"Hey there! We haven't been formerly introduced. My name is Nicola and I work for the famous Mad Scientist.

In recent months, since I've obtained this job, I've stayed in the shadows to observe and learn. I'm really starting to see how he fails at offering an amazing service and high quality of product to our customers - You! So I'm hoping that you'll help me overthrow him by impressing the 'League of Scientists'.

To do this, I need some ingredients to research the formulas that create new mutations never before seen on Wajas. Are you interested in helping me? I will reward you with a brand new, never released dye for your help."''

 After completing the quest 3 times, you will be able to select which dye you would like to receive for any future completions.
 ==Takeover of the Lab==
-On June 27, 2016 Nicola "took over the lab".  This happened alongside her feature being becoming automated, so that the staff were no longer sending out the potion rewards for her item gathering quest manually.  Players now turn in their quest items at the Mad Scientist's lab.  This also resulted in her picture and new text replacing the Mad Scientist's and his potion making options being removed from the shop.  It is unknown at this time whether they will return to the Lab or become otherwise available in the future.
