Random events were events that used to have a small chance of occurring any time a page on the site was loaded. However, random events haven't occurred on the site since it came back up after the November 2008 downtime. It's presumed that the coding for them was lost in this downtime, and it is unknown if they will ever be implemented again.

Examples of possible events include:
*'''Random sales wajas''' - An event stating that a random for-sale waja had strolled by. The event message provided a thumbnail image of the waja and a link to the waja's page where one could buy it.
