Moderator run weekly contests were introduced in 2012, and are themed contests which require users to dress up wajas to match a theme and submit them for the chance to win the contest.

The contests are held on the [[Admin Announcements]] forum and are locked once they are completed.

==Contest Information==

Contests are announced through the [[News]] and new contests are usually announced at the bottom of the same post which presents the winners of the previous contest. As each contest varies in theme, detailed information for each contest is found in the first post of the particular contest thread.

==Types of Contests==

Contests may be:
* Waja of the Week
* Item of the Week
* Mutation of the Week
* Combo of the Week

==Rules==

Rules which are consistent for each contest are:
* Each player may only enter one waja for each contest
* Any waja entered '''must''' be owned by the player making the entry
* Reserved posts on the contest threads are not allowed
* No chatting is allowed on the contest thread

==Prizes==

The prize for having your waja chosen as one of the weekly winners is a badge image which you can display in your cave or on your waja's profile. The badges were originally done by [[Thorin]], but [[Bepo]] has now taken over the creation and distribution of badges.
