− | Some dyes, a limited number that restock regularly, can be bought in the shop or found and then bought in the Shop Search. Once you buy a dye, you can go to your Inventory and select that dye, for example Okapi Dye. You would select the dye, click "Use", and then select the waja you want to dye. In this example, a markingless white Tempest. After choosing the dye and the waja, you will be taken to a page that looks very much like the Custom Demo page. It will ask you what layer you want, and give you a list. If the waja has other markings, then it will give you the option of putting the new dye marking either above or below the other markings. The farther up the list a marking is, the closer to the base layer that marking is. For example, if "Zebra" marking is at the very top, any and every other marking will be on top of it. On the other end, if you put the marking directly on the bottom, it will show up on top of any other marking on your waja. So, if you wanted to add the "Belly" marking next, you'd put it right under the "Zebra" marking. So, your waja would look stripy but have the solid color belly, because the belly color was put on over top of the zebra. However, if you put the "Belly" dye above the "Zebra" dye, your waja will have it's original color, with the differently colored belly, and then stripes OVER TOP of both the original color AND the belly dye. Be very careful about making absolutely sure that the dye is where you want it to be before you click the button that makes the changes final. Dyes cannot be erased once they're put on, but you can re-dye that same layer and make that marking a different color, or decrease the strength of the marking to 1% so that it is hardly visible and/or put the marking under all the other layers. Dyes are a bit like layers of paint in that the next layer will cover up whatever is underneath it if the marking has 100% color strength.
