Pearballs
Pearballs are wajas that have a large number of custom markings applied by use of many Markings Pears. Generally a waja is only referred to as a pearball if the majority of their strongest/most noticeable markings are from markings pears. Some users only consider a waja a "true" pearball if it doesn't have any dye markings at all.
Dyeballs
Dyeballs are wajas that have a large number of strong dye markings, applied by use of many Dyes. They are usually more brightly colored and have stronger markings than pearballs due to the fact that their owner had a choice in the layering, opacity, and color of their dye markings. Non-dye markings are usually acceptable on a dyeball, as long as the majority of their strongest/most noticeable markings are dyes.
