Random events were events that used to have a small chance of occurring any time a page on the site was loaded.  However, random events haven't occurred on the site since it came back up after the November 2008 downtime.  It's presumed that the coding for them was lost in this downtime, and it is unknown if they will ever be implemented again.

Random events were events that used to have a small chance of occurring any time a page on the site was loaded. However, random events have been absent from the site since it came back up after the November 2008 downtime.

Examples of possible events include:

  • Random sales wajas - An event stating that a random for-sale waja had strolled by. The event message provided a thumbnail image of the waja and a link to the waja's page where one could buy it.
  • Kaylie - From August 2007 until the downtime, there existed an event saying that Kaylie had appeared. The event would then give the user the option of attempting to catch her or ignoring the event. Succeeding in catching her would place the Kaylie item in your inventory, while failing would give you nothing (the actual chance of catching her after attempting to was random).
  • Dancing Skeleton - During Halloween of 2008, a random event could appear that would allow users to obtain a Dancing Skeleton.
  • Bob the Unicorn - From June 2008 until the downtime there existed a random event that would allow users to obtain a Bob the Unicorn item.
  • Finding Eggs during the Easter 2007 event. The eggs were openable and have ceased working. Opening the eggs would get items from them.
  • Finding eggs during the Easter 2016 event.
