A "Cave Partner" is a person with which a user chooses to share an account. Please keep in mind that the shared account counts as one account for both users, so they may only have one other account each besides the shared one.
Cave partners are often friends for a while before they decide to share an account, but there are instances of users putting up ads for a cave partner or taking applications from strangers. After they've agreed to be cave partners they can either get a new account together (abandoning any secondary accounts either of them may have already had), or one user will abandon their secondary account and move into the other user's second account.
Players get cave partners for a variety of reasons, but usually it's just for fun.
Communicating
Cave partners generally have no way of communicating on the same account, so they will use their own accounts to talk or use an IM client to discuss things. They can also use their cave description, but it's not very private and anyone can see what they're talking about. When talking on the forums, cave partners usually have their username set as a combination of both their own names and sign their posts with the name of whichever user is making the post.
Precautions
- Sharing account information with another user is extremely risky and requires a great deal of trust. If your cave partner decides to clean out the shared account and block you without saying a word, they can do that and the mods are unlikely to get your items, wajas, or WC back. Likewise, if a partner breaks the TOS and causes the account to be frozen, both users are at fault. Wajas, INC. will not reimburse virtual items, virtual pets, virtual wallpapers, etc. to individuals who claim they "did not do it".
- Make sure that you are staying within the "only two accounts per user" rule. You may log into the shared account and one other account, no more. Do not log onto your partner's un-shared account, as that would be considered a third account and could get you both frozen.
