Litter Quantity

Litter quantity (more commonly known as LQ) affects the number of pups born from a breeding. The minimum number of pups which can be born from a single breeding is 1, and the maximum is 4. If both parents have 100LQ, the chances of litters having 4 pups is higher but not guaranteed. Even pairs where both parents have 100LQ will not always have litters of 4 pups.

If two wajas being bred both have 0LQ, the litters they produce will generally only have 1 pup. The higher the parents LQ the more pups they are likely to have per litter. LQ is also inherited from the parents, and pups will have LQ that is either the less than or equal to the lowest of the parents LQ.

LQ can be raised by feeding a waja normal pears, and wajas with a high LQ are often considered more valuable than identical wajas with low LQ. The maximum LQ for wajas is 100.
