Getting Your First Waja

So you've signed up and you're ready to get started, but your cave is empty! You may be wondering how to get your first few wajas. There are multiple ways to do this.

Purchasing a Waja

In order to purchase a waja, you're going to need to play a few Games to earn some WC. Once you have some WC, you can start looking for a waja to buy. You can do this either by using the Waja Search, Sales board, or the Wanted Ads board.

For the Waja Search, Click "World" and then "Waja Search". From here, select the breed, generation, and anything else you wish to specify about the waja you want to find. Then make sure to click "yes" next to "Selling". Now enter "1" in "Min Price" and however much WC you're willing to pay in "Max Price" (You can see how much money you have at the top right corner of the screen (Waja Credits: $#####)). Click Submit, and you should be presented with a list of wajas that meet your qualifications. If you find one you like and can afford, you can just go to its page and click "Purchase". It will ask if you're sure you want to purchase this waja. Simply select "yes" and the waja will be placed in your cave.

For the Wanted Ads, click "Communicate" and "Forums". From this page, scroll down to the "Wanted Ads" board under the "Sales" category. Make a post here stating how much WC you have to offer and what kind of waja you're looking for. If someone has a waja that matches what you describe, they will post offering to sell it to you. From there you can work out a deal with the other player. Remember to be reasonable in what you're asking for and what you're offering; you're not likely to get a Generation 2 Waja for 50,000 WC. Please note, you cannot ask for free wajas on this board. This is considered begging and is against the rules.

For the Sales board, you will not be making your own thread. You will be browsing the threads of others to see what they have to offer. If you see something you like and can afford you can simply buy it. Please note, you cannot ask for free wajas/money/items on this board. This is considered begging and is against the rules.

Newbie Giveaways

Another way to get a waja is to visit the Newbie Giveaways board on the forums. To get to this board, click on "Communicate" on the top of the page, and then click on the word "Forums" that will appear on the left side of the screen. Then scroll down a little bit, and you will then see a tab that reads "User Held Contests/Games" a few tabs under that, you should see a tab called "Newbie Giveaways".

Click that, and it will take you to a page that has tons of topics created by older waja players that are looking to give out wajas they no longer want to new players for free. You will not be making a thread here, but rather browsing threads already made by other users. Make sure you read the opening post(s) carefully for important information, instructions, requirements, etc. on how that player is running their giveaway. If you don't read their instructions, you are likely to be ignored.

If you meet the user's qualifications you can post and ask for the waja you want from the one's they're presenting for giveaway. They will likely ask you for your User ID so that they can send the waja to you. If you don't yet know what that is, it is a set of numbers you can find at the top of the screen next to your username (Logged in As: Username ( ###### )). They will transfer the waja and it will appear in your incoming waja transfers. Click on the "Home" link and select "Your Transfers". Click on "Wajas" to the left of the screen. The waja they've transferred should appear under "Incoming Waja Transfers". From here, simply click the accept button and the waja will show up in your cave.
