African is one of the 18 obtainable waja breeds. It is based off of the African Wild dogs (cape hunting dog). It is the only Waja facing forward and looking at the player, limiting the view of markings on its back. Until Fire, this was the only breed that featured multiple (two) tails. It is also the only waja to display the Long Tail marking as nine tails.
To change a waja into an African, use a Rock Waja.
