DNAs are items used to place a new mutation on a waja, and can be used on any waja at any time, similar to Potions. The name of the DNA refers to the name of the mutation it adds. Dyes can be found in various shops, including the Leaf Exchange, the Raccoon King Shop and the DNA Emporium. Once added, a DNA can never be completely removed (though you can reapply the same mutation to change the color or visibility of the mutation.)
Not all mutations are available as DNAs. It is worth learning what mutations are available as DNAs, as they will assist you when trying to find mates for wajas and also when designing wajas in the Custom Demo.
Some mutations are available as both Token Creation & DNA mutations.

Applying a DNA
To apply a DNA to a waja, first click on the DNA in your inventory and select "Use". You will be prompted to choose the waja you want to use the DNA on. Select the waja you want and you will be presented with a page similar to the custom demo or custom creation page. Here you will choose the hex color you want the DNA to be (it defaults to FFFFFF white), the visibility (visible/hidden) you want it to be (it defaults to visible), and the layer you want the dye marking to be placed on. At any time you can press "Preview" to see what the waja will look like once the DNA is applied at the current layer/visibility/color. Once you're satisfied, press "Create" and the waja will be mutated.
DNAs applied to an already pregnant waja will not affect the pups she is pregnant with.
Once applied, DNA Mutations behave exactly the same as any other mutation and pass on to pups in the same way.
DNA Emporium DNAs
The DNA Emporium is found under the Shops link in the World menu, and rotates 28 different DNAs in and out of the shop, 2 at a time. The DNAs change every Sunday at midnight, and will never repeat a DNA within several weeks time. All dyes for sale in this shop are a flat rate of 10 CWP.
The following DNAs can also be obtained through a Mystery DNA.
Leaf Exchange DNAs
The Leaf Exchange is found under the Shops link in the World menu, and permanently contains several DNAs. These DNAs can be bought with Leaf Points (LP) and range from 100-300 LP each.
Raccoon King DNAs
The Raccoon King Shop is found under the Shops link in the World menu, and permanently contains several DNAs. These DNAs can be bought with Raccoon King Points (RKP) and are 2000 RKP each with the exception of Jowls.
User Shop DNAs
The following DNAs can currently only be purchased through User Shops, and cannot be obtained through any other method. They may be re-released at a later time, or may be seasonal releases.
A * indicates this dye may be released seasonally through an event or site shop.
