Wajas can have their breeds changed with items called "Breed Changers". These items are:
- Bottled Air - Changes Waja into a Tempest.
- Burnt Paper - Changes Waja into a Fire.
- Celestial Star - Changes Waja into a Divine.
- Frog - Changes Waja into a Water.
- Fiddlehead - Changes Waja into a Forest.
- Hairball - Changes Waja into a Spitz.
- Joker Card - Changes Waja into an Imp.
- Lollipop - Changes Waja into a Normal.
- Marble Horse Mold - Changes Waja into an Earth.
- Miniature Pyramid - Changes Waja into an Egyptian.
- Ominous Skull - Changes Waja into a Bane.
- Plastic Waja - Changes Waja into a Plushie.
- Rock Waja - Changes Waja into an African.
- Scaled Feather - Changes Waja into an Aerial.
- Shrinking Powder - Changes Waja into a Corsie.
Breed Changers were available at the Point Exchange.
A Frog can also be obtained by purchasing a yearly upgrade.
A Plastic Waja can also be obtained randomly when playing the Fish-A-Waja game.
